Qualification Criteria

To be eligible for the MMAI platform, applicants must meet the following criteria.

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must NOT be currently signed with or represented by a modeling agency
Must own full rights to submitted photos (no copyrighted studio work without release)
Must consent to AI-generated usage of likeness per MMAI terms
Must provide accurate measurements (height, bust, waist, hips)
Must provide valid government-issued ID for identity verification
Must submit real, unedited photos — no AI-generated or heavily filtered images

Preferred but Not Required

Prior modeling experience (editorial, commercial, runway, etc.)
Professional portfolio or comp card
Social media presence with engaged following
Willingness to be featured across brand partner content

What You'll Need

Gather these before you start your application. The process takes about 10 minutes.

Clean Headshot

A front-facing photo with natural lighting, minimal makeup, and hair pulled back. No filters. Phone quality is fine, we want to see you.

Full-Length Photo

Full-body shot in fitted clothing. Plain background preferred. This helps us understand your proportions and body type.

Profile Shot

A side-angle or 3/4 view of your face. This is critical for AI rendering accuracy and gives brands a fuller picture of your features.

Waist-Up

A photo from the waist up showing your proportions and overall presence. Natural posture, plain background preferred.

Do I need a photographer to apply?

No. Phone photos work. Photos should be well-lit and unedited. Heavily filtered or AI-generated submissions are not accepted.

What does AI-generated use of my likeness mean in practice?

Brands on Mirror Mirror AI use AI to produce imagery featuring your face and features in digitally created photos. You review each project's intended use before approving it. No imagery is generated or released to the brand without your sign-off.

What is likeness licensing?

Your likeness is the combination of your face, features, and appearance that makes you recognizable. Licensing your likeness means granting a brand the right to use AI-generated imagery of you for a defined purpose, a defined period, and agreed usage. On Mirror Mirror AI, every license is project-specific. You approve the terms before the imagery is created, and the license is released to the brand only after you sign off.

How does the approval process work?

Brands cannot access your likeness or generate imagery featuring you until you approve a project. You review the intended use and expected usage scope upfront, then decide whether to take it on. The imagery and its license are released to the brand only after you sign off.

How does compensation work?

You set your own base rate, which is used to calculate your total fee per project. You have visibility into expected usage before approving any project. Payment terms are detailed in the Model Agreement provided upon acceptance.

Can I apply as a former agency model?

Yes. If your contract has ended and you are not currently under active representation, you are eligible to apply.

Is Mirror Mirror AI open to international applicants?

Yes. Mirror Mirror AI accepts applications globally.

What photos do I need to submit with my application?

Four photos are required: a clean front-facing headshot with natural lighting and no filters, a full-length photo in fitted clothing, a profile or 3/4 view of your face, and a waist-up photo. All can be phone-quality. The process takes approximately 10 minutes.

Do I need prior modeling experience to apply?

No. Mirror Mirror AI accepts applications from both experienced and aspiring models. Prior experience (editorial, commercial, runway) is noted in applications but is not a requirement. What matters is that you meet the eligibility criteria and submit clear, unedited photos.
